The Flex-a-lite Mojave heater is designed to simplify the task of providing heat and comfort to your ride. It eliminates the need to locate hard-to-find parts, or go through expensive rebuilds to get old units in working order. The Mojave gets its heat from the hot water in your vehicle's cooling system (just like an O.E. unit), but has the advantage of fitting into a wide variety of confined spaces. Its compact size, ease of installation and operation make it the ideal replacement unit.

Mid 1950's NuTone Kitchen Exhaust Fan

This was installed in our house when it was built back in 1957. It's in a really neat solid copper hood canopy, which is a hassle to keep clean, but looks bitchin' when it is all shined up. We recently did a light remodel of this kitchen with new tile, countertops, Bosch dishwasher and a Viking six-burner cooktop. This fan is rated at 500 cfm and still works great; easily sucking smoke, cooking odors, steam and heat away from the stove. The bonus is the cool startup sound it makes and the fact that it's 51 years old!!!

How to Install Ceiling Fans

!±8± How to Install Ceiling Fans

Need help installing those ceiling fans? A ceiling fan is a great addition to any home. During the warmer months of the year, it helps cool a room, as if there is a cool breeze coming in. On the colder months of the year, a ceiling fan set to the lowest setting helps circulate the warm air that goes up. As you know, hot air goes up. And the fan is there to help you bring it back down. Aside from its functionality, a fan for the ceiling is a nice décor for a home especially with the various materials, colors, and light kits available. When you decide to install ceiling fans in your home, here is a guide that will help you do so.

First, you will have to remove the light fixture where you plan to install the fan. Make sure that the support workbox on top can support the fan. First install the mounting bracket before proceeding to install the fan. Remember that when you install a ceiling fan to an existing light fixture, it is most likely that the wall switch control is for the whole unit. There will be two chain pulls for the fan and one for the light. Make sure that you turn off the circuit box for that particular switch. Disconnect the previous light fixture and the wiring attached to it.

Now it is time to assemble your fan. When you purchase your fan, it will surely come with assembly instructions. Simply follow that before you hang it onto the mounting bracket you've previously installed. After hanging the ceiling fan, make sure to connect the wiring according to the manufacturer's instructions. Install everything and turn on the circuit breaker. Now it is time to test your fan.
